Meet Your Instructor: Michelle

Michelle has two passions: working with clay and art education. She earned a dual degree in Art (focusing on ceramics) and Education. After teaching in public schools for 5 years, she saw the need for creativity and artistic expression in our society. Michelle opened That Art Place to provide a joyful creative space at That Art Place for families, children and adults.

About That Art Place

That Art Place exists to awaken creativity in everyone. We strive to provide a joyful, relaxed place for our community to be creative.

That Art Place is a kiln-based art studio located in Belton, Texas. In our walk-in studio we offer two kiln-fired art forms: fused glass & paint your own pottery. In our adult and kids workshops, we explore those mediums, as well as clay handbuilding and wheel thrown pottery, on a deeper level. Visit our website for current class schedule.

That Art Place was founded by Ben and Michelle Weaver in 2014. The Weavers strive to provide a joyful creative space for families, children and adults to create art + memories together.

Take home beautiful art and happy memories (even if you think you’re not an artist!) We make art easy with an organized studio, helpful staff and simple steps.
